You are staying in Paris for a day or more?
Want to make the most of it?
Not a big fan of those 'follow the flag' group tours ?
Care for a typical Bistrot, try the finest pastries as you hear about the history of Paris?
Then drop your compass, your binoculars and come discover the secrets and hidden wanders of our beautiful capital with a local native!
My name is William. I'm an upbeat 28 y.o bilingual drama student with great interest in French History and Paris. I love to walk its narrow streets, spot vestige, and help visitors imagining life in the old days !
The "City of Lights" has a lot to offer, and one will always have new things to discover and learn!
Whether you wish to get a quick snap of the major landmarks (Sacré Coeur, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame...), get off the beaten and conventional tracks, or learn more about a specific borough (Marais, Montmartre, Latin Quarter) I will take you around and customize your visit.
And because no one understood Paris better than Joséphine BAKER, here is a little treat for your ears and eyes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZALCOaf1cj0
But France is not just about Paris -though many Parisians will tell you so! ;) -, I can also set up day trip tours to wonderful and historical sites outside the capital:
--> The "Impressionist Tour": Discover the magic of the Seine river banks that inspired many artists, visit Giverny and Claude Monet's house and garden, or see where Van Gogh finished his life and best artwork.
--> The "Bubbly Tour": Learn about the Champagne Region and its major city: Reims. Champagne house & cellars, the King's Cathedral, I'll take you to a unique place of sophistication and elegance.
--> The "Versailles Tour": We'll explore the Sun King's Château, understand its hidden secrets, its remarkable gardens, and Marie-Antoinette's various "retreat area"!
So grab your phone or laptop, and let me handle the rest! :)
Bonjour, My name is William. I'm a 28 y.o upbeat Parisian living in southern Paris! After five years of study and graduating in International Business (London and Reims),I embarked on a new adventure: Drama studies! I'm actually performing on stage in two short plays by French author Marivaux and currently rehearsing for my next play: As you like it, by drama genius Mr Shakespeare ! I've organised tours in Paris and in France for the past three years now. I have busy weeks, but I like it that way. When I don't work, I take time to go to the movies, see a play or just go to the pub with mates and have a nice pint!! (That's my English side talking). I also love traveling around France - and when the money's in the piggy bank - around the World (Last journey was in Western Uganda for charity work! What a treat!) There's nothing like getting lost in a different country and discover other cultures. Anyway, should you want a local guide to show you the unbeaten tracks and secret wanders in Paris, drop me an email and I'll answer back as soon as I leave stage! :) Merci Full profile
