We will split our time between Torino (Italy's first capital) and Relais - the heart of wine country. Surrounded by picturesque rolling hills and countryside we will taste our way through quintessential wineries of the region tracing their roots and the traditions that have preserved them! What is more decadent than wine? TRUFFLES! We accompany a truffle hunter and is dog into the woods to hunt the elusive truffle. We then cook alongside an Italian family, cooking up generation old family recipes! We are invited into a local farmhouse to experience hand made salumi, home grown veggies, pasta made from scratch and of course home made wine! A trip to the Piedmont region would not be complete without tasting nougat (locally made) from honey and nuts! This is a once-in-a-lifetime way to experience some of the worlds finest wines and culinary treasures!
