Whizzing past ghost stations that have been closed for decades, we're taking a trip back in time on the world's oldest underground railway. We start at the very first station, where there are clues to where it all began...old posters that are still visible, blocked-off doorways.
And then we travel through the very same tunnels that those pioneer passengers rode through 150 years ago.
Let's time travel. Fast forward a century as we travel on one of the world's most advanced routes. Each station along this new section was designed by a different superstar architect to turn this part of the network into an art gallery.
If there's time, we'll jump on a classic open-backed Routemaster bus before ending at London's Transport Museum.
An amazing time. See http://www.vayable.com/users/4633 for my other exciting London tours.
I'm a journalist. I write and talk for money. I edit a travel magazine, and I know London like the back of either of my hands. I've eaten my way across most of the city, and know the hottest new places, the best chefs, and the tastiest dishes in every neighbourhood. If you're lucky, I might even tell you about London's best off-menu items...live like a Londoner! Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
