We had a delightful evening and I would highly recommend our local tour guide, Sandra M. She was punctual in meeting us and had a system for us to easily find her in the crowd. She selected three local pubs and had secured reservations at two of them. Sandra recommended the second pub's food, so we dined at that location. She shared a lot about her country's social rituals, but went way beyond the food and beer. Sandra brought along a book and showed us photos of significant events that she or her extended family had experienced. She made a point of stopping at several stores to point out the specifics of what she had described to us. This tour was supposed to have been 2 to 2.5 hours in length. We were with Sandra on the pub tour for 4.5 hours. She showed us how to use the metro and got off on our stop to point us in the right direction of our hotel. She was a delightful woman and represented her country well. We have a 30 year old daughter, so we especially enjoyed Sandra's perspective.
