Being born and raised in New York, I've seen skateboarding go from being looked down upon, to being praised! It's great to see New York become the booming city it is for skateboarding! As a native skateboarder, I can show groups of skateboarders the spots, parks, shops, and history of the city in terms of skateboarding. It's culture can be experienced in a way that skateboarders from out of town or out of the country cannot experience without someone from New York knowing and sharing the ins and outs of this concrete jungle! Everyday is a fun and different experience in the big apple! So get on it!!
