I was born in South Africa, studied in the US and now I live in Bogotá, Colombia, where I own and operate a small guesthouse and manage an NGO that aims to connect volunteers with communities throughout the region.

My passion for Colombia and its people began during the time I lived in Houston - salsa dancing, eating empanadas with friends and attending some of the best Colombian festivals, parties & cultural events the city had to offer.

After finishing my studies in both hospitality & international development, I decided to move to Colombia with my fiancé to start a new life. So here I am. Living in Bogotá's historic district, taking every opportunity available to travel around and explore more of this beautiful country.

I am also a photographer, which is why I specialize in photography tours of the region surrounding Bogotá. From iphones to point and shoots and digital SLRs, I can show you how to take great pictures with your own camera!
