I have over 30 years sailing experience including 20 years experience sailing San Francisco Bay and one ocean crossing.

Over the years, I have taken many people sailing on San Francisco Bay. Sometimes it is going under the Golden Gate Bridge or circling Angel Island or sailing lessons to prepare for bare-boating charters.

I have a Masters Degree (Civil Engineering) from Stanford. I have recently retired from a 20 year career in the engineering field to pursue my love of San Francisco sailing. I sail because I enjoy sailing, and I have purchased two boats that I enjoy sailing every day.

I have cruised and raced extensively (Chesapeake Bay, Long Island Sound, California coast, British Virgin Islands, Mexico). In April 2006, I helped deliver a boat across the Pacific, from the Galapagos Islands to the Marquesas (French Polynesia). The trip was 22 days and we covered over 3000 miles.
