Originally from New Jersey, I have lived in Portland for 7 years. I consider myself an explorer, as it is my goal to experience everything Portland has to offer. In my spare time I am doing just that, exploring new places, eating delicious food, seeing live music, hiking with my dog, and playing street hockey.
"If it's not fun, why do it?"
I visited Portland last June and Aaron was kind enough to show me around the town. He guided me to local restaurants and food trucks, breweries and bars (even an organic beer festival), funky neighborhoods and and great live music, Portland must-sees Powell's and Voodoo, bike rides through city parks and so much else that I can only recall in a blur. In essence: what makes Portland, well, Portland. The thing though, is that what is most striking is not any one particular thing, but rather Aaron's positive attitude with everything. If I were to find myself in Portland again, I would most certainly contact Aaron and I would recommend him to anyone else that is out that way.
Aaron is one of the reasons why I have come to love Portland. I have been there twice, and I can say that there is always something new to do and see. Visiting from NYC my expectations were rather high. Aaron took us to both touristy and non touristy places that really impressed us in every way. From visiting beaches, hiking mountains, flower gardens, and my favorite eating...Aaron really has terrific knowledge on Portland and the surrounding areas. Did I mention wine tasting... We were on our way to the beach and Aaron suggested we stop off to try the local wine. My wife still talks about the adventures we had with Aaron. Let me stress...WE LOVE TO EAT and he really took us to mouth watering places I cannot forget. Want an unforgettable experience....One word...Aaron!
Aaron has taken me around Portland on multiple occasions. He's the best tour guide for all the right reasons--friendly, personable, generous, and knowledgeable. He not only knows all the greatest places to go, he will take you there with enthusiasm and you will enjoy exploring Portland with him!
me and my friend went on a road trip from Seattle to Cali last spring break, we decided to stop in portland to check out the city, we thought that there r not much to see in portland, till we took this trip with Aaron, we arrived kinda late so theres not much to do, but Aaron here didn't give up so he took us downtown, and he drover us across pretty much every bridge in portland, it was the quickest tour of downtown ever but we managed to see every corner of the downtown area in less than 2 hours. we ended up staying a night in portland, because we wanted to see more, Aaron took us to the coolest and weirdest restaurants the next day. the tour was so fun, we went back to portland again to do another tour with aaron while on my way back to Seattle. so if you want to have the ultimate Portland experience, Aaron is the only guy that could make it happen! ( i mean it was so fun we took it 3 times!! )

We used Aaron last year for our trip to Portland. Aaron showed us all the in eating spots. Aaron showed us the most photographic sights in and around Portland including scenic ocean resort towns to mountain views. Aaron recommended a trendy boutique hotel which we stayed in which was amazing. Aaron is the best!
We just used Aaron as our tour guide for 3 Days! What an amazing experience. Whatever it is you are looking to do or see Aaron can lead you there. We got to go where all the locals go and see what all the locals love inside this exciting bubble of Portland. From hiking , funky facts, and enjoying local cuisine we were extremely impressed. It was our first time visiting Portland and there was so much to see that next time we will use Aaron to explore more of this wonderful city.
