A Chattanooga native raised in a non-religious family, his "bar mitzvah was more bar than mitzvah." Rabbi Epstein moved to NYC to study the Torah. Since 1982 he has given people from 71 countries an insider's look at the neighborhood where he lives. Note that these tours are not meant to convert guests but to educate about culture and history.
