Yo Yo Lander began her broadcast journalism career at the age of 15. And by 18 she had already on-aired at over 11 radio stations in her hometown. By 21 Yo Yo’s voice could be heard internationally as she voiced the main character of the Voice of America’s original radio drama, PAY DAY. Yo Yo received her BA in Communications from Howard University and her MFA in Theater from UCLA. While at UCLA YoYo toured the USA as the star in the nations longest running one person show, entitled, FACES OF AMERICA. In 2009, YoYo created and produced an informative webseries geared towards ENTERTAINMENT ENTHUSIAST, called The UPload Show where she interviewed hip-hop industry veterans and up and coming artists (i.e. Cali Swag District, Dave Meyers, US Olympian David Oliver, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Faith Evans etc.)and covered some of the hottest urban establishments in LA. Yo Yo currently produces special events and hosts shows for HoodNews, URBN 24/7, Hollywood TV and more.
