What a fantastic experience. I am so happy I've found and had the opportunity to hang out with my new gringo-looking but true carioca friend Marcel. The facts Martin F. (the previous reviewer) said are absolutely true. Marcel has provided more than exploring Rio like carioca! He exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone - especially if it is your first time in Rio! I would rate this experience 6 stars! Do not hesitate to book with Marcel, it will be the best thing you could do in Rio.

First the summary: 10/10, fantastic tour, Enthusiastic knowledgeable guide, it will be one of the highlights of my trip. Just book it. Details: Marcel is genuinely passionate about Brazil and particularly his neighbourhood Leblon. And he loves food!! Leblon is just bursting with secrets and joy. Marcel has an intimate knowledge about the neighbourhood and its history and food. He is generous to a fault with his time and willingness for you to enjoy the tour. We went to amazing places,not on the tourist trail, and a great market for breakfast. I was given great advice about what to do and not to do in Rio,and this really helps the holiday experience. Marcel is one of those truly charismatic 'people's person' He must be the the Bill Clinton of Leblon! It was a joy Marcel. Thank you and I hope my enthusiasm conveys how much I appreciated it
