Having spent most of my life overseas like a wanderer, all the more I think I live more like a local. I enjoy meeting new people and taking you all around while I also get to discover parts of Singapore which I may never been before. All this while, I have been taking friends, relatives and even friends' friends to explore my country Singapore, which I call Sunnypore, covering Chinatown, Resort World, Universal Studio, Marine Life Aquarium, Clarke Quay, Merlion Park, Orchard, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, River & Night Safari, Mt. Faber, Henderson Waves, Trickeye Museum...you name it. I am in fact more useful than your guidebook. So as long as you do not mind the walking and hopping in and out of the public transport, I can assure you that we get to explore deeper into every corner than the drivers do. Meeting great people and making new friends from different countries fits my outgoing and easy-going personality and being able to bring a smile on your face gives me a sense of achievement. Each time I bring a group of us around, we discover something new or rather an interesting place together and we have a lot of fun relaxing, talking personal life and experiences, laughing away, eating local fares and some fine dining, drinking cocktails/beer/wine and partying the night together while exploring the essence and highlights of Sunnypore. Don't be surprised if there are times I, myself feel like a tourist just like the rest of you. Well, this is what life is all about, isn't it? We are all exploring and discovering new things, places and people. As an experienced insider/guide, every tour itinerary is unique, depending on the number of days you will stay and your main points of interest/places of attraction as I know some of you may have done some "homework" back at home. Of course, I have done mine as well and am also open and ready to any of your suggestions as we go along the way as I aim to please to make your stay in Sunnypore an enjoyable one.
I am a Singaporean who has spent most of the time in Singapore till I get the chance to further my studies in LA after high school. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Communications and continued to pursue my Graphic Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising later on. After graduation, I had some work experience as a graphic/print designer in LA before moving to Taipei after 7-8 years in California. I also had some work experience in Taipei for another 7-8 years working as a language teacher, teaching students English from elementary to high school. Later on, I decided to take up another challenge working as an overseas sales selling mobile accessories to distributors and some big players in Europe and USA. Being the only child at home, I decided to head back to Singapore after about 15 long years abroad. I got to know Vayable through my cousin and thought that being a guide/insider could be a new opportunity/challenge for me. As you can see, I took up many roles after graduation and you can probably tell I am a very outgoing and adventurous person who is all ready to take up a new challenge anytime. I am very confident and comfortable dealing with all kinds of people from old to young and from different cultures due to my past experiences. I believe being open is one of the traits of being a Vayable guide. Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
