Bangkok has a small but very vibrant contemporary art scene. Since most of the city's small private or commercial galleries promote Thai and regional artists, a day of gallery hopping is a great way of getting a taste of the local 'art' scene that Bangkok & Thailand has to offer!
Like with many things in Bangkok, you'll soon discover that there is no concentrated art area and that the city's galleries are pretty much scattered all over town, although The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), opposite MBK shopping complex, is the city's latest effort to create an all-integrated art experience.

There, I worked for the Korean editions of prominent international fashion magazines such as ELLE, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Noblesse, Haute, frequently traveling on assignments that took me elsewhere in Asia, Europe and USA (San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles). Early 2010, my globetrotter mindset and lifestyle, with a special affection for S.E. Asian countries, made me decide to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand – the hub of travel and tourism industry. From here, I have contributed to publications about travel and lifestyle featured in: DestinAsian, Lifestyle+Travel, Asean Tripper, Eloquence, Elle Indonesia.
