A perfect introduction to Lisbon’s geography. Despite its easygoing lifestyle, Lisbon is full of character and contrasts.
We invite you to visit the best viewpoints and spots that each quarter has to offer, while showing you how to place yourself in the city map. Graça is our starting point. From here we can see the western side of Lisbon and with a short walk we reach Portas do Sol and its view over old town and the Tagus River. Next, we go downhill through the narrow streets of village-like quarter of Mouraria into the colorful and multiethnic Martim Moniz. Through the cosmopolitan square of Rossio we go up Escadas do Duque to the city’s fashionable uptown, ending this tour in the bohemian and artistic atmosphere of Chiado and Bairro Alto. Here you can find rather original street musicians, art studios, high fashion stores and dozens of sunny cafes and restaurants where you can rest and regain energy from this expedition. By the end of this walking tour you should have plenty of useful information written on your city map as well as a familiar feel towards it!

Our small group is composed by Salvador (architect, 21), Constança (economist, 21) and Andre (geographer, 49). All three of us are travelers, and we've been working together as guides in Lisbon for over a year now. We like to think about our tours as rather original in their format and content. Our main idea is for each of them to be spontaneous and conceived according to your interests and needs. We love the simple and authentic Lisbon, and we hope you fall for it too! Full profile
