The Olympics were a triumph. Spectacular venues, trains running on time, Team GB won loads of medals, and Londoners broke out in a wave of friendliness. Now comes the legacy. The Olympic Park is a building site again, ready for its reopening in July 2013. The park is huge and beautiful. Next door is Europe’s largest shopping centre, Westfield Stratford City. This tour is about the past, present and future of Stratford and the surrounding areas by somebody who has lived in the area for 25 years.
