Whirling Dervish Ceremony

Known to the west as Whirling Dervishes, the Mevlevi Order was founded by Mevlana Rumi in the 13th century. The Order wrote of tolerance, forgiveness, and enlightenment. They survive today as a cultural brotherhood. Get the once in a lifetime experience of attending a unique religious ritual.

Sufi music is considered to be unique because of its combination of synchronized hums with prayers--helping the Whirling Dervishes to achieve pure religious ecstasy.
