Joseph Jacinto "Jo" Mora (1876-1947) was one of the most engaging and creative souls California has adopted. His sculptures are hidden in Carmel courtyards and grace the Mora Chapel in the historic Carmel Mission. They reach from Salinas, Ca., King City, Ca. and Monterey, Ca. and are found in Los Angeles and San Francisco as well. Join the Jo Mora Trust Collection Curator, Peter Hiller, as he personally guides you on your custom planned tour to see Jo Mora's artistic accomplishments in person.

The itinerary is flexible based on the interest and needs of the guests. Highlights include roadside sculptures in Carmel, the Carmel Mission, Monterey and Salinas. These custom designed tours are intended to fit the convenience of the guests as their time and schedule permits.

We were privileged to be taken on an interesting and historic tour of Carmel-by-the-Sea to view and discuss the public art of Jo Mora. What an amazing artist in so many ways! Our guide, Peter, was quiet, informative, very pleasant and kind and we had a great time being with him and hearing his story of the life and artwork of Mr. Mora. I highly recommend this wonderful tour to anyone who would like to see another layer of that beautiful and charming town! Susan Daugherty, Albuquerque, NM
