Description:
Explore both Old Delhi and New Delhi on a full-day sightseeing tour with a local guide, and move comfortably between the historic monuments in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Your first stop will be the Laxminarayan Temple, Continue to the 17th-century Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, laid on a hillock in Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) by the 5th Mughal Emperor. Admire its imposing minarets and domes, before driving to the fabled Red Fort.
Drive past the immense President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhavan), a 320-acre complex that dwarfs the White House in Washington. After lunch (not included in ticket price), continue to Humayun's Tomb, built between 1562 and 1571, for the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun.
Then, it’s on to the southern section of the city to see the Qutub Minar, boasting the tallest minaret in India. Enjoy a spot of shopping at the end of the trip if you wish.
