Art, cava and chocolate combined: enjoy three of the most tempting pleasures in life during a day-tour from Barcelona, in the intimate atmosphere of a private group.
The tour begins with a visit to the mountain of Montserrat, internationally renowned for its physiognomy and its Monastery, founded in 1025, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Spain. Then, at an elevation of more than 720 meters, you’ll take in stunning views of Catalonia, and the Pyrenees. In the Basilica we will admire La Moreneta, the Black Madonna, saint patroness of Catalonia.
Next we will go to Freixenet wine cellar to enjoy a 90 minutes guided tour along the history of cava making: tradition and innovation combined with cool and sparkling cava tasting.
After the visit a typical Catalan lunch will be ready for us at Sant Sadurni d’Anoia. And to round up the meal we will indulge in a guided visit to the Chocolate Experience, an instructive yet delicious introduction to the fascinating world of ancient chocolate making, letting ourselves be pampered by chocolate tasting.
Then we will return to Barcelona where we will arrive around 5:30 pm.
