Joyce Walks Chicago came about because I LOVE CHICAGO. Let’s walk through one of Chicago’s amazing neighborhoods–Chinatown, the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Old Town, Kenwood, Pilsen, and more–interact with locals, see where people live, enjoy the local restaurants, and learn how each neighborhood’s unique history shaped its culture, art, and architecture. Prior to starting Joyce Walks Chicago I was in education for 20+ years as a high school teacher and college professor. I love to teach - and to learn!
