Raised in Florence, Italy, she speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. Her travels have brought her to over a dozen countries including Pakistan, Senegal and Indonesia. She is the co-founder and CEO of Granny Cart Productions. Elettra’s work has been published on Monocle, Univision News, TabletMag.com, GlobalPost.com, CPJ.org, theDaily.com, NYMag.com, Bronxink.com, Departures, Black Ink and Travel+Leisure. She has also fact-checked for The New York Times reporter, Graham Bowley, and for T, The New York Times Magazine. She worked for over four years at Departures and Black Ink, the magazines for the American Express Platinum and Centurion card members. Her work has also appeared in New York Magazine online and Columbia University’s Bronx Ink online publication, for which she covered the neighborhood of Hunts Point in the Bronx. She started her career at Travel+Leisure and has experience in the fashion industry with companies such as The Gucci Group, Max Mara and Calvin Klein.
