Spend a couple of hours navigating the urban hikes San Francisco has to offer, and stop at some special places for some minutes of yoga practice to really get immersed in your environments and eventually, yourself. Yoga poses are all levels, and walking pace is moderate.
I like to go with the flow. Being a yoga teacher helps. Here in San Francisco, many dreams can come true. What's yours? I've been practicing yoga since I was 8 years old, back in my native Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when my mom gave me “My First Yoga Book for Children.” I would gather neighborhood kids around a blanket and everyone practiced together. I've been in love with my practice ever since. Upon moving to San Francisco in 1999, I started delving deep into it with several teachers in the San Francisco Bay Area and I have over 300 hours of yoga teacher training. I'm also trained in Dance Therapy, Capoeira, Laban, Pilates, Contact Improvisation, Tai Chi Chuan, Brazilian Contemporary Dance and has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. These all influence my teaching and practice. My goal as a teacher/guide is to help people feel as free, happy and comfortable inside their bodies as they possibly can, then admire this wonderful world we live in with bright, open, refreshed eyes.
