Hike or backpack your way across Catalina Island. Camp at "primitive" campgrounds, lovely coves, and forests. This is an unforgettable hiking experience! The route takes you through the interior of the island along roads used by the famous buffalo. In the past the elusive Catalina Island fox has been seen along with various birds and deer. This is ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS. Backpacking option also available. Prices listed include gear haul and meals. Please contact me directly if you would like to save money and carry everything yourself. Price does NOT include transportation to the island and 2 nights stay in Avalon the night prior to leaving and the night after returning. Campsites fill up on major holidays so please book in advance if that is the time you wish to go. NOT recommended for children. No refunds given if you cannot complete the walk and it is VERY difficult to get back to the boat (or any source of transportation) once we have departed.
